"My wife pulled a 'What Not to Wear' on me for my 40th birthday, and Amy helped me sort through my existing wardrobe and make significant improvements. Amy was great to work with -- she took the time to understand my needs and goals, researched specific ideas ahead of time, and made the whole experience easy and fun.
Going into the experience I knew next-to-nothing about style, but Amy helped me feel empowered rather than intimidated. Somehow she convinced me to get rid of some of my 'favorite' clothes without making me feel like a disaster, and she got me to try new styles and colors that I never would have considered on my own. In addition to helping me shop for specific items, she provided written follow-up guidelines to help me continue building a more effective wardrobe on my own.
Overall, I'd highly recommend Amy; she provides a great balance of professionalism and easy-going friendliness. Family, friends, and co-workers all noticed a change for the better, yet the new look was still 'me.' My wife was so impressed that she immediately booked Amy again for herself."

“I knew I needed new clothes, but wasn’t really sure if paying a style consultant would be worth the extra money that could have been spent on my wardrobe. Figuring I need to try it once and see, I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed shopping with Amy. She had done some research first to find the stores that I would probably get the most out of, and she hit it on the nail, including one I had never stepped in before. She was fun, professional, and tactfully gave me suggestions that I would not have otherwise thought of. So next shopping trip I feel I can really expand on the things she taught me and keep improving my wardrobe and my style. ”

"I haven't had that much fun shopping in a long time. This shopping trip was exactly what I needed-- I honestly feel like a new person thanks to you!
I'm so excited and can't wait to go shopping again! ... I can't tell you enough how great this experience was, Amy. This was a kick-start to a new and refreshed wardrobe--and a new Kelly :-) Even though I'm just starting out in the 'world of colors,' I feel like I learned so much and I truly feel so much more confident about myself and my wardrobe."

“Thanks, Amy. Today I finished the process of COMPLETELY cleaning out my closet-- I'm throwing, giving or storing away over 4 full-sized trash bags of stuff. Everything is either hanging or neatly folded in drawers! It looks kind of amazing.”

"I'll be calling you again, very soon ... I do plan on recommending you to everyone I speak to! You are really good at what you do. The first few things I tried on kind of upset me a little -- but then --- miraculously I looked in the mirror and didn't look HIDEOUS, for the first time in I don't know how long!!!! Thank you for that :)
... it was a very productive day and I think things went FABULOUSLY smoothly... You were WONDERFULLY helpful and I'm looking forward to taking a good look at (and getting used to) the new me.... and of at least one more shopping trip and some help with putting things together so I can start doing it better myself."
"Thank you!"

"Shopping was never my thing. I was never someone who spent the time or effort on it, and as a result, I never got compliments or cared. When I did shop, I would find clothes that were OK. They sort of fit, I liked the color, and best of all, it’s only $20. How could I go wrong? So I would pile my new clothes in the closet with the rest and wonder every time I opened the door, 'Why don’t I ever have anything to wear?' Even though, after closer inspection, half of the things in the closet still had tags on them. Finally, a friend of a friend actually spoke up and said, 'You need a wardrobe makeover…'"
"…Amy purged my closet with a vengeance. She tossed clothes, well, let’s just say, clothes I probably had longer than she had even considered being a Personal Stylist. At the end of the process, there was a pile on the floor any mountain climber would consider a challenge. It was overwhelming, exhausting, and a little humbling. But it was also a little exciting. A fresh start - a chance to begin again."
"And begin we did. We went shopping… So, like any good navigator, Amy would chart her course and guide me through the sea of clothes racks, picking out items as we went. Some I liked, others I would think you will NEVER get me to wear THAT, it’s just not my color or style. Amy would see the wrinkle on my nose and know I didn’t like it. She would laugh and say, 'Try it.' Ok, I think, I did hire her, she is here as the professional, I should just see what she comes up with, but in the back of my mind my voice is SCREAMING, that is JUST NOT MY COLOR. Low and behold, I would put it on and, 'HEY, is that me? I look great, it’s perfect.' Only to have Amy cull it. She would say, 'Look, the color is good, the style is perfect, and the pattern is the right size, but look how it gaps here… we can do better.' In the end, she was right and we would find something better…"
"…Because now I look in my closet and get excited about what I am going to wear, I feel beautiful, and put together. I now get compliments from friends, clients and even from perfect strangers. Thank you Amy, I could not have done it without you, and I look forward to our next shopping trip."
